Alicante, wine route: Jalón valley

Itinerary:

JALON

The Jalon valley also known as “Valle del Pop” is one of the most popular and admired places in the heart of the Costa Blanca. The villages that lend their name to the valley are: Murla, Benichembla, Parcent, Alcalali, Jalon and Lliber.

The villages all have in common the rural feeling and easy laid back lifestyle, excellent gastronomy, fiestas and above all the Jalon river that runs through the valley.

The valley has a combination of a never ending sea of vines and almond trees siluetted amongst the surrounding mountains, with the exceptional climate, traditions, culture and excellent services, it makes it an ideal situation for settling.

Jalon is the main town in the valley and it is internationally renowned for its wines and sweet wine “Mistela” and also for its famous homemade sausages and desserts in which almonds play the leading part.

Return to the Port or Hotel.
