SANLUCAR AND “DOÑANA NATIONAL PARK”; FLUVIAL GUIDED TOUR.
Duration: Approx. 3 and a half hr..
Meeting point: 9.30 a.m or 15:30 . At "Fabrica del Hielo" visitors center on Sanlucar de Barrameda, “Bajo de Guia” Avenue.
Description: Aboard Real Fernando Ship you will do the following route: departure from "Bajo de Guia" pier, in Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz).
Sailing downstream the Guadalquivir River for 13 Km, during which an intensive explanation of the River sides and Doñana’s National Park will be given.
That will take us to "La Plancha" village -inside the Park-. Here we have a 1 hr. pedestrian trek to visit the huts and understand how people used to live on the natural resources of this area, also to visit "Los Llanos de Velázquez" and "Los Llanos de la Plancha", places where local fauna can be easily observed.
An interpretation of the traditional uses of the Park and its vegetation is carried out during this tour.
Return to the ship, boarding and continuation of the journey to see "Las Salinas" in a brief pedestrian route of 30 min. during which explanations will be given helping you to understand the environment (Las Marismas del Guadalquivir).

During the return journey back to "Bajo de Guia", there will be a projection in the audiovisual room with a documentary about the Doñana National Park.
