“SIERRA DE CAZORLA” (Cazorla Mountain Range); TAWNY VULTURE OBSERVATION GUIDED TOUR.

Meeting point: At 8.00 a.m. at: "Paseo Del Santo Cristo" num 17-19, lower floor (Parque building) at Cazorla, where your driver/guide shall be waiting. Show him your REAL SPAIN voucher to commence the tour.
Description: On a modern and comfortable 4x4 we will commence towards “Vadillo-Catril”, then, walking along a footpath will see an amazing limestone ravine (Cerrada de Utrero), having Guadalquivir River on the side. Thereafter we will visit “Linarejos” waterfalls (seasonal). We will then return to our vehicle and get to the historic "Las Herrerias” Bridge, which dates back to the 15th Century, along a forest path which closely tracks the Amarillo creek to arrive to Guadalquivir River birthplace (at an altitude of 1,400 metres). Thereafter we will go up to “Lorente Pass”, at an altitude of 1,800 metres, and then descend to reach "El Chorro", the location where Tawny Vultures and Egyptian Vultures can be observed. We will continue then to "Riogazas", leaving behind the beautiful panoramic views of "Montesión" Monastery, “El Gilillo”, "La Peña de los Halcones" (falcon's peak), "La Virgen de la Cabeza" hermitage, and the amazing panoramic view of Cazorla.
