Description: The tour will commence towards “Getxo” along the right bank of “Nervion” River, leaving the industrial towns of Baracaldo, Sestao and Portugalete on the opposite side.
We will stop at “Las Arenas” to see its famous “Puente Colgante” (Suspension Bridge), one of the few very in the world.
Those who wish to do so may go up on the bridge towers, as the views from the top are really worth seeing.
Thereafter will continue to “Castillo de Butron”, with its imposing 45-metre high walls, and “Mungia”.
We will continue following the coast to “San Juan de Gaztelugatze”, with a picturesque hermitage perched on a rock over the sea.
Thereafter will go to “Bermeo”, a typical fishing village, where another brief stop will be made before we continue to “Mundaka”, stopping again to enjoy the magnificent scenery of the “Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve”.
The next stop is at the famous town “Guernika” to see its legendary tree and the “Casa de Juntas”.
The return journey to Bilbao will be through the picturesque interior of Vizcaia.
The whole trip should be over by about 2.00 pm.
