“DRACH” CAVES EXCURSION.

Description: Located on the east coast of Majorca, these caves are one of the main tourist attractions, and are undoubtedly one of the highlights of the island, which have a horizontal development close to the 2,400 meters and a depth at its peak of 25 m. below the surface. The caves hiding inside a large underground lake, Lake Martel, considered one of the world's largest underground lakes (177 m long and 30 meters wide), where there are daily concerts of classical music with pieces of Knight , Chopin, Offenbach, ... The concert lasts 10 minutes, and live music played by a quartet of musicians.

Following the same you can see a light show reminiscent of the sun into the lake and then you can cross the lake by boat or by bridge. The route is about 1200 m. and there are about 250 steps between downstream and upstream. Appropriate footwear is recommended, because in some parts of the cave floor may be wet.
