Duration: 1 hr. and a half.
Meeting point: At “Santo Estevo” pier in Lugo, at least 15 min. before the scheduled departure time. Show your REAL SPAIN vouchers on the boat to get your travel ticket. Departures are twice daily at 12.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m.
Description: The pier where the trip begins is located at the open central part of "Los Cañones" (The Canyons). Soon after the beginning of the journey, you will enter the upper section of "Los Cañones", which is the most spectacular part of this trip, -only accessible by boat-. This section is 13 kilometres long. The guide will keep up a running commentary on the places you are passing trough.
The river then opens out and you will be able to see Amandi and Ribeiras do Sil, vineyards zones which produce Ribeira Sacra wine. The return to Santo Estevo will be back along "Los Cañones Superiores" with their many interesting rock formations. After 1 hr. and 25 min., you will understand why “Ribeira Sacra” monks decided to settle themselves in this marvellous place.
